Helena Ventrella Design Limited (HVDL) was founded and incorporated in Windsor, Ontario Canada in 1989, with the vision to provide progressive custom interior design services for commercial, hospitality, healthcare, institutional and residential clients with discerning tastes and a focus on quality. For over 30 years, Helena’s passion for design and commitment to unique solutions have established strong working relationships with clients, architects, developers, and contractors alike.

Helena continues to build and nurture a diverse team of associates with varying talents and strengths, from architecture, code compliance, rendering, budget, finance & procurement to installation detailing, who collectively contribute to each project’s success. This team believes that creative collaboration & out-of-the-box solution-finding are key to successful design.

The HVDL team focuses on Experiential Healing Spaces based on Biophilic Design elements, and they believe that creating supportive physical spaces features Adaptability, Empowerment, a Sense of Community, Beauty & Meaning while mitigating stress.

The founder is certified by the National Council for Interior Design (NCIDQ) and continues to contribute to the design community. While nurturing her business, she has served on the board of directors of A.R.I.D.O. and is an occasional guest speaker/lecturer at St. Clair College, participates in Yorkville University’s PAC, and mentors many students. Additionally, she seeks to align her company with compatible professional partners as opportunities arise.
